About FlowQ

FlowQ comes from engineering and builds systems for data and workflows. Sales is the field where this work shows most clearly.

Anyone who gives a provider access to their market, their CRM and their name should know who they are dealing with. This page answers three questions: who is behind FlowQ? Where does the way of working come from? And what rules do we work by, even when nobody is watching?

Who is behind FlowQ

FlowQ is Christian Lüters’ company, based in Munich. He founded FlowQ and is personally responsible for every agreed implementation.

In practice, this means that the person you speak to in the orientation call is the same person who defines your triggers with you, builds the systems and explains the results to you. There is no handover from sales to a project team and no changing point of contact. Whatever is said in the conversation, the same person has to deliver later.

Career

  1. Since 1998, Christian Lüters has been putting technology into operation in large organisations.

  2. At MVV decon, he started in Bad Homburg and later headed IT in Abu Dhabi.

  3. At Siemens, projects for power grids and smart grids in the Gulf followed, ending with responsibility for sales and business development in the Lower Gulf region. So he has been accountable for sales himself, not just advised on it.

  4. At Sky Deutschland, he was Technical Programme Director for international programmes between Munich, London and Milan. There, he stabilised a programme in difficulty and brought it to launch.

After that, he worked on his own interim mandates and, in cooperation with mm1, at the interface between data and architecture. Three engagements show what matters most for you today:

  • ProSiebenSat.1: migration of the on-premises data lake to AWS, around 100 terabytes of data, a usable first version just under four months after kick-off, planned within the group’s security and data protection policies, including audits.
  • Porsche: a central database for CONNECT vehicle data as a single source of truth, with responsibility for quality, completeness and audit-proof records across several divisions.
  • DB Fernverkehr: building and leading two teams of IT and data architects for the train generation from 2030 onwards.

At ProSiebenSat.1, he saw how much value lies in data that nobody can get at. That led to the turning point: no longer handing over other people’s systems on time, but running his own systems for the long term. Since 2020, he has run Lüters & Lüters with his brother on a simple principle: understand the workflow first, then automate it. In 2022, he founded FlowQ.

For you, this means that the discipline of environments with audit obligations and formal approval processes now goes into your sales data. Every piece of information has a source, and the system has an owner who will still be running it tomorrow.

Where the way of working comes from

Christian Lüters comes from engineering. His background lies in infrastructure, in running his own systems, and in bringing software into reliable operation and keeping it there. Anyone who works this way learns one rule early on: a system is only finished when it also runs on a bad day and when someone can understand why it does what it does.

FlowQ grew out of this background. The core of the company is working with data: finding it, cleaning it, merging it, keeping it up to date, and connecting workflows so that nobody has to copy anything by hand between systems any more. On top of that come assistants that take on clearly defined tasks and whose results are approved by a person.

Signalradar and Sales Operations are built on this foundation. Behind every trigger you see is a chain of search, matching, checking and handover that has to be built, monitored and maintained. FlowQ builds and runs this chain itself.

What FlowQ builds outside sales is shown on the page Data and automation.

What FlowQ is not

FlowQ is not a marketing agency and not a sales agency. We do not make contacts on your behalf, we do not write to your target companies, we do not negotiate and we do not close deals. This is not a gap in the offering but a deliberate boundary.

Nor is FlowQ a tool that you buy and operate on your own. What we build, we set up for your market and run for as long as has been agreed.

The rules we work by

1. Every statement has evidence.

When FlowQ says that something has happened at a company, the source is right next to it. When we draw a conclusion from it, the conclusion is recognisable as a conclusion. What cannot be proven is not passed on as fact, not even when it would sound good. This applies to your results just as much as to this website. Where we still lack proof, we claim nothing.

The question to ask: Where does this information come from, and can I check it myself?

2. You speak under your own name.

Nobody stands between you and your future customers. Your customers get to know you, not a service provider. What this division of labour looks like day to day is set out on the page Sales Operations.

3. Your data stays traceable.

You should know which data flows along which paths and where it is stored. Data flows are documented, not hidden in a black box. Processing follows the GDPR. We do not build a system that nobody can explain.

Tried on our own business first

What FlowQ offers clients runs in-house first. Since October 2026, FlowQ has been testing Sales Operations in its own business: the same stages, the same rules, the same obligation to provide evidence. Whatever does not hold up there is changed before a client ever sees it.

A small-scale example of this principle: at FlowQ, spoken notes are automatically turned into drafts for posts. The person speaks, the system prepares, the person approves.

Who this suits

FlowQ works with companies that sell to other companies and that approach customers themselves or want to build up that capability. What matters is not the industry or the size, but whether you want to know why a result is the way it is. If all you are looking for is a list of addresses, you do not need FlowQ. If you want to understand what is happening in your market and are looking for a counterpart who is also responsible for the technology behind it, you are in the right place.

How a start works in practice is described under Getting started.
